Everything I post on All Business Answers, I do with the intention of helping small business owners. I do not temper my opinion or give false advice for money. Here is what you can expect in terms of advertising and money changing hands:
- I do run ads on this site, both as banners and buttons, and in text. I am not adverse to putting affiliate links within my articles. These links are not nefarious. If you click on them, you will have to opportunity to learn more about a product and then make your own decision on whether or not to buy. My belief is that my readers are smart enough to make these kinds of decisions for themselves, so I am not afraid that I will unduly influence you.
- If I come right out an recommend a product or service, it is because I truly think it is worthwhile for you to check out. I may be paid for a review, in terms of money or products. I do not allow that to influence my opinion. If I like something, I will recommend it to you. If I don’t like I won’t recommend it. Plain and simple. The vast majority of my recommendations have no compensation attached to them.
- If I like a product or service, I will try to get them to advertise on the site. My preference is to put up ads for companies I know and approve of, but I don’t guarantee it. In no way should an advertisement be seen as an endorsement by me. If I love a product, and they want to pay me to endorse it, I see that as a win-win and I will do it as long as I continue to love the product.
- I don’t highlight affiliate links as such. If you click on a link and it takes you to a site where you can buy something, it is likely an affiliate link. Look into the product and make a decision for yourself.
Here is what you will never see on All Business Answers:
- I won’t recommend a product unless I really like it and have tried it. I will review such products, but in so doing will make it clear that you have to try it for yourself.
- I won’t lie to you, try to cheat you, or attempt to trick you into spending your hard earned money.
- I won’t change the content of the site in the interest of an advertiser. The content always comes from me. If an advertiser tries to influence content I will end the relationship.
- I won’t hold back negative opinions about a company just because they are paying for advertising or sent me some nice swag. That being said, I don’t publish a lot of negative reviews. Its just not in my nature. Usually, I won’t publish anything at all unless I have something positive to say.
